Well-known actor Matt Smith, who is famous for playing the role of the Eleventh Doctor, has kindly agreed to act in a regeneration seen for our fan series, after asked to do so by our friend Al Prifolo. He's "happy" to do it, and will act in it for nothing.

"I've always loved fan films," Smith told us, "I'm always happy to help out a Whovian!"

So what do you think? Is this awesome, or lame? Is it a good idea for Matt to be involved in fan productions?

We're going to start trying to make Cybermen at some point soon. We'll be attempting a Tomb, Nemesis, and Tenth Planet design. We'd like to do this with minimal funds, so we'd prefer to avoid having to use a scuba suit or a flight suit. Does anyone have any ideas what to use alternatively?

All right, here's the news I promised ages ago!
Yes, I'm a bad boy.
Anyway, the second episode is going to feature the Doctor going back to the 1930s. It will involve Nikola Tesla. It will involve time-wimeyness.
And humany-...

Episode 4

And the final slot is filled! This episode is written by Spiderfish. He had three different ideas, and I'm currently consulting my SFX team to figure out which one makes the cut. Depending on which idea is chosen the episode may be a historical or a futuristic episode, and may have a returning villain.
I'm pleased to confirm a third episode, written by 50 James Moriarty from DoctorWhoTV. He'll be penning an episode that reintroduces (or maybe it doesn...No, not going there) an alien very well known to fans of the Sarah Jane Adventures. Can you guess who it might be?

UPDATE 2/15/2012: Episode name revealed to be The Crystal Maze.
In other news, we're planning a 50th Anniversary Special. We'd like to go multidoctor, but we currently don't have anyone with the ability to either do it frame-by-frame or using chroma key, either due to ability or program availability. If anyone would like to volunteer to do this, we'd be much obliged.

Writers wanted

So far, out of our five episodes, we have three slots full. Fallen Angels is in the script stage, Teleforce in the synopsis stage, and the finale in the it's-going-to-happen-but-we-don't-know-what-it's-going-to-be-about stage. That leaves two slots full. If you have an idea on what to write about, PM me at http://storynetwork.freeforums.org I'm The_Cult_Of_Skaro.

UPDATE 2/14/2013
Spiderfish is confirmed to write episode 4.
